Default construction jobs in Alabama

A few questions: We are native floridians that are sick of it here. Focusing on relocating to Alabama. Where is residential construction still booming? Husband would want a project management of construction type job. What companies are hiring and where? Should we focus on specific areas? What do yall's newspapers look like in the want ads or do you even go there anymore or just straight to internet sites? Being southerners ourselves, I need to ask is the state a good 'ol boys club or can others come from other states and get hired? Thanks for helping-I love this forum and I love Alabama!!!
