IMHO, we're gonna see a lot of plea bargaining and the vacating of offices....then special elections where voters will finally conclude that since 95% of those involved are democrats - IT's TIME for change....

Then ironically, it will be the Republicans who do more to help the poor in this state than the Democrats ever did. The pittance in property taxes that Alfa, and US Steel pay is downright disgusting. Raise property taxes only 10%, take off the taxes on food and reduce tax rates on the working poor and you could do a world of good for the disadvantaged of this state.
This could happen as soon as six months

Well, we got rid of Santorum (in PA) so there is always hope! (Just Kidding) I think Sessions might be slightly more acceptable than Santorim, but I don't really like his politics.

Good analysis of Rep. Davis, Bravo. Good analysis, period...

Another rising star for the Dems is Ag. Comm. Ron Sparks (who I could never support because of his association with Daily Kos - the blogger who said "screw them" about Americans killed in Iraq).

Yep, between Roy Johnson and Tim Turnham (from this Summer) pleading guilty, it looks like the Feds may be building some solid cases. The sooner the better.

JSU fan is on a distinguished road
Corruption has nothing to do with party affiliation. Crooks have always surrounded themselves with crooks and the payoff stays close among them.
Good case for term limitations in elected and appointed positions within education and government.

JSU fan - I'll agree with you in theory that corruption has no party affiliation. But right here and right now in Alabama, corruption is a Democrat.

"case for... appointed positions" - I prefer to vote.
