Default Talladega Count

I am moving from N Georgia to Talladega Co. Childersburg, Sylaugua area. What can you tell me about the area? I would be commuting to work from the Hwy 280 and I-459 area.

It is a pretty area. Taxes are low, education is below average, economic growth is starting to boom. There are a lot of activities in the area. Be prepared for a lot of traffic congestion on 280. Both Childersburg and Sylacauga are nice places. I have friends that live there. Its really a quiet atmosphere, but the area is growing very rapidly. The growth is so great that once in Birmingham traffic almost crawls on 280. I have been here three years and know a little about the surrounding area but I am certainly no expert. I hope that helps a little. Anything else, just ask.
