I'm wondering how the homeowners' insurance situation is for Fairhope since it is in a hurricane area. Is there any 'quick and dirty' way to estimate what the cost will be based on the purchase price of a home? Are there concerns that another hurricane in the Gulf area will cause insurance companies to not even insure for hurricane damage anymore?
Many thanks, Gail |

Hopefully someone who lives there can tell you but if you don't live on the bay or in a flood zone, from previous post on here the amount given was
150K house was 1,800 a year with a 2% deductible for hurricanes. Of course as in most cases it depends on the house and where it is located, but that should give you a general idea.
