My beloved Birmingham and also that of Huntsville.

I cant help but to notice the difference in thread counts between the two forums. B - 2256 H - 5342. As of this post, Huntsville has over double the threads that Birmingham does. Wow! Looks like Huntsville is definitely where the most activity and growth is happening in this state. I do hope my beloved city will manage to keep up before we are left behind.

The number of threads in a sub-forum is a poor representation of measuring growth in a specific city or area. The "Huntsville-Madison-Decatur Area" sub-forum may have more activity, discussions, and interest than the "Birmingham Area" sub-forum.

I doubt First 48 will quit filming in Birmingham and move their TV crew to Hunstsville.

That is a dubious honor Birmingham has over Huntsville ( host city of a reality show about murders )

I hear they're going to move to Chicago... after all, they've already hit the 500 mark this year...
All in a city that is a gun free zone... how DOES that work/

It may just be me, but I am glad Huntsville isn't hanging tough with Bham about crime statistics.

This forum will not tolerate facts. Cut it out!

The First 48 has filmed in at least a dozen other cities and AFAIK the mayor asked that they not return and they haven't been here in a while. But don't let those facts stop you and the sockpuppets. Maybe you can cruise on over to the HSV forums and increase their post count by necroing scintillating threads about fruit and mediocre BBQ.

Agree with you there. I don't think Bham is #1 in per capita murder anymore tho. Still, would hate to see huntsville become cesspool Jr.

I HIGHLY doubt that. Huntsville has a great future ahead and will ONE day give Silicon Valley a run for IT'S money.

You think Huntsville will ever get to see this type of activity? It's a glorified suburb, worse than Charlotte. lol
