Well you have quite a few choices.

Enterprise - fairly decent sized town, not too big, but it isn't small either. Plenty enough for shopping, and affordable housing.

Dothan - Very large town, tons of shopping, however it is a bit further from Ft. Rucker. It has great hospitals and schools. Within comfortable driving distance of Enterprise and Ft. Rucker (about 20 miles).

Daleville - small town with a lot of different restaurants. Its proximity to the base has allowed several ethnic restaurants to stem up along its main drag. Not too much to offer, but if you can find a home here, go for it.

Ozark - Smaller than Enterprise, bigger than Daleville. I find that Ozark is for a more elderly population. Nevertheless, its only a short drive to the base, as well as shopping in Dothan.
