The whole state will. You ever heard of suppliers?
Even if only Mobile see benefits he still should have defended the state.
Thats the problem I have with some people from Huntsville, they hate to see other parts of the state suceed.Whats the problem?

Ray McKee (R) announced his candidacy last year and was Cramer's only opposition.

But now, with an open seat, there are many other possible candidates. People who've been mentioned include:

Dems - Susan Parker, Parker Griffith, Tom Butler (may run as GOP).

GOP - Mo Brooks, Dale Strong (if Brooks doesn't run), Stan McDonald, Tom Young.

mimpdaddy - I wasn't aware that Rep. Cramer opposed the award of the tanker contract to Northrup / EADS in Mobile. Can you provide more details?

JesusisLord - you're right. The region has voted GOP at the Presidential level for decades, the State has two GOP Senators, 5 of 7 GOP House Reps.

Mo Brooks (R), citing family and business concerns, announced that he will not run.

John Hannah (R), who played for the Bear and then went on to a pro football career, is rumored to be considering a run for the office...

I think I heard that Susan Parker is out. Also that McDonald is out as well, maybe Tom Young.
