Question Mobile and Dothan: Old buildings converted into condos?

Are there any condo conversions of old commercial buildings in either the Mobile area or Dothan that are being rehabbed into lofts or condos? For example, in Chicago there are many old buildings that have been converted over to condos or lofts (a pencil factory, a candy factory, many printing company buildings downtown, etc.).
Some cities are just now starting to do this, but others have not caught on yet.

Oh yeah !! mainly downtown there are several downtown building such as the Mattress Factory Lofts,St Emanuel street Lofts,Buick Building,Karess building, Old Gayfers building Lofts,Carriege Building Lofts ,etc. Several buildings in the entertainment district are lofts up stairs but is a cafe, bank ,theater,or retail downstairs. The buildings in the entertainment district date back from the early 1800`s . Several of the downtown lofts have 9 - 15 foot ceilings with some original and new hard wood floors, some with the original brick as well, with Italinate,French,or Spanish exterior that are original from the early 1800`s.

My wife and I were walking around downtown last night. It amazes me at how many buildings are being fixed up right now.
