Default Scottsboro, AL?

I was wondering what kind of town is Scottsboro, AL? Has it ever recovered from its infamous history? Is it now a good place to live?

That history was 70 years ago. Even Alabama has moved on.
Yes, Scottsboro is a nice place to live. It has a great golf course. It has mountains (not like the Rockies or even the Smokies, but small mountains!) and the broad Tennessee River. Excellent schools. It's still a small town - First Monday trade event/flea market is a big deal! I've heard it can be insular and a little hard for newcomers to feel at home. Scottsboro is not far from the bigger cities of Huntsville and Chattanooga, and close to outdoor recreation. Yes, it's a nice place.
