Default Bug problem in University of Alabama?

I'm just wondering if there are bug problems inside the University of Alabama.(Cockroaches especially.)

It's the South. And Tuscaloosa is semi-tropical. And full of students who don't put cleaning high on their list of things to do.
There are going to be cockroaches.

Thanks, do you recommend any cockroach repellent spray/stuff that I should buy before I come to UA? I come from a place where cockroaches are no where to be seen

You don't have to buy it before you arrive...Tuscaloosa has lots of supermarkets, Wal-Marts, even Target!
