Talking Looking to relocate to Alabama

I grew up in Prattville, AL. I love Alabama with everything I've got! It's home. My family is there, it's just home. I've lived in Atlanta for many years and am really looking to get out of the big city! I'm a small town kinda gal. I am in an Environmental scientist/engineering field. I really like the Huntsville area as well as middle Alabama (Auburn/Opelika). I know that Montgomery probably has some opportunities too but what other areas can be suggested to look?

Thanks!

I think Huntsville is the best place to live in Alabama. I'm not just saying this because I live here. I used to live in Birmingham for 4 years. It was fun as a student, but now that I am engaged and looking to start a family, Huntsville was a better fit. There are plenty of engineering jobs here as well as other professional jobs. The economy has grown rapidly here in the past few years. Schools are some of the best in the state. The city is the perfect size.... not too small or too big. Hope this helps... Good luck with your decision.
