Default Temporary rent Summerville area

Hello! We will be searching for a home in the Summerville area. Wondering if anyone has a recommendation for a cheap place to stay temporarily while we are searching. It does not have to be anything fancy, just safe. Thanks.

We are a family of 5. We were thinking of trying to rent a small home for awhile, but now we may just stay at a relative's home a couple hours away for about a month while home searching. My husband already has a room he rents while at work in Charleston. But we may still need to stay at a motel sometimes while looking.
