Alabama does have beaches - Gulf Shores, Orange Beach, Fort Morgan on the gulf, Fairhope, Mobile and several others on Mobile Bay. There are plenty of restaurants in need of servers, managers, bartenders, you name it. I would certainly check out the place before you move, though, to make sure it's do-able for you. Good luck!

I agree if you want beach, those are the places, however I suspect rent will be on the high side in those areas. Foley will be cheaper as far as rent and is very close to Gulf Shores. You should be able to find a job as a waitress or cashier in Gulf Shores or Foley. There is also an outlet mall in Foley where you can find work.

I think you should really consider West Mobile. It's close to the beaches, there are plenty of restaurants for jobs, it's peaceful and safe and I'd really like to see more big blue spirit down here. It's still somewhat rural out here, the traffic is there, but it's not as bad as Lex. I think you'd like it.
