What do you mean by "these positions"?
110/day comes to roughly 13/14/hr or 550/week gross.
You are talking about Ewig International Marine, are you?

Lots of people work as deckhands in this area. It is an entry level offshore job and involves heavy labor. The job usually involves pulling heavy ropes and cables, painting, cleaning, etc. Typically deckhands work 4 weeks and then are off 2 weeks (28/14), although it differs from company to company. Food is usually supplied by the employer, so that helps keep expenses down.

I'm not familiar with that company.
You'll need to apply for a Z-card through the Coast Guard if you want to work on a boat over 100 tons (that's most of them). Call the number on this link, they can lead you in the right direction.
