Question What's the history behind Headland?
Hi, my name is Phil Headland I live in Surrey England and I just came accross your City details on the web. Wondered what the history behind the name was and whether or not there may be any connection with my family.

Phil: I live in Headland. The community was named for founder James (or Joshua) J. Head. My grandfather lived here as a doctor as did my father...they are buried here. I have been here only since 1995 but visted my grandparents often.
