Alexander City, AL?
Does anyone know if there is anything to do in Alexander City, Alabama? MY father retired from the Army in 1998- he moved back to our land in Alexander City, Alabama. I have been coming to visit for years and have not found one thing to do but throw rocks in the pond, go to the lake and Wal-mart. Coming from Baton Rouge, LA.........need I say more. If you know of any hot spots in Alexander City, AL.....please let me know. Thanks.

I can understand Alexander City not being a hot spot since their only major employer up and moved out a few years back. If it's not debilitating, immoral, or illegal, try doing whatever your Dad's doing and see how it goes. At least he'll enjoy it....probably. Good luck.

lake martin is definitely the big draw in the alex city area. auburn is only about 40 minutes from alexander city and there's plenty to do in that college town... if you are under 30 anyways...

Hey, I'm trying to locate a name of someone from Dadeville that has the lawn maintenence contract with the Alexander City Housing Authority. His first name is barry, last name begins with an "S". Also, if anyone knows the name of his company, I would be appreciative, thanks

My daughter and I are about to move to Alexander City to join my husband who is already there on work. Can anyone help us find a place to rent, may b 2 bedrooms and fairly cheap but also in a safe place?
