Default Possible relocating to Robertsdale from Upstate NY

My brother and family relocated to Robertsdale this month, they want us to move there as well and be closer to our parents who are now Florida residents. I have a 15 year old son who loves football and baseball and my concern is moving from our current location when he's going to be a junior next year and the last 2 years of high school are critical for any type of scholarship. Is Robertsdale a great area for him to play these sports and possibly receive a scholarship?

Have you seen Robertsdale? It is rural country land. Schools are terrible. Very poverty stricken. Hope you like being in the middle of nowhere! If you insist on Southern Alabama- try the Eastern Shore. 30 minutes away. Completly different world. There is money and professionals on the shore.

i would try foley over robertsdale. foley is not on the eastern shore, but it is pretty nice community. a bit bigger and livelier than robertsdale.

and foley's football program is better than robertsdale...

Some people just have to be negative:>)

Baldwin County is one of the fastest growing areas in the US. Have you visited there?

This may give you a start for your research.
