Alabama is seeing its share of new residents. The Huntsville area especially will see an influx of almost 10,000 people from base closing in other states and their jobs moved to Redstone. I can't really tell you a lot about other metro areas but there are a lot of auto plants in AL. It is fast becoming the 'new' detroit. I just moved back to AL after being away for more than 35 years. It is good to be in Sweet home Alabama. When was the last time you saw a man tip his hat to a woman? They do it here.
