My husband and I are moving to Alabama soon (within the next month). I had forgotten how many great things there are to do, visit, see....not to mention the bordering states.
The only pretty place I can remember really is Tannehill State Park (not sure what it is like now but 12 years ago it was nice)
Can't wait.

I pray that my wife and I will be able to see as much of this amazing country as possible. What a great state!

I just noticed Guntersville State Park is not on here yet. It is a fun place to go if you like to hike, many trails, also, the view from the $30 million dollar redone Lodge is unreal, great place to go for breakfast, lunch or dinner while you are there!

Here's our new Wind Creek Casino in Atmore. It's not scenic, but it's something to do if you like gambling and a good buffet.
