Default Special Needs Dothan, AL

We are moving to the Dothan Area, my husband is transferring. Our 12 y/o son is deaf and is in a wheelchair. I am wanting to learn how the school system is in Dothan, AL. It is horrible in Pell City, AL for special needs kids. They still live in the ancient days here. I believe my son is going to Girard Middle. Any advise would be helpful. Thank you in advance. Is Rehobeth a better school system for kids with special needs?
