Default Looking for a place to rent in or around Blountsville, Oneonta, Cullman area

We are looking for a place to rent in, around or near, Blountsville, Oneonta or Cullman. We are a young family of 4, My husband is 22 I am 20, we have a 2 year old daughter and an 8 month old son. We have no pets and moved here nearly 2 years ago from CA. We are looking for either an appartment, house or trailer for 400.00 or less a month. My husband works for Tyson and I am a stay at home mom. Our main problem in finding a place is we have no rental history except for the place we live in now. This is the fist place we have rented on our own, and we have always paid our bills on time and our rent. Our landlord will be a good reference for us, but many people want more than one and that is where the problem comes in. We are currently renting her house and she has been living in Alabaster for the last two years, but is now looking to move back up here.

That is a wide area. You might check out Arab, although $400 a month is not much for house, but you can get an apt or MH in that range. Folks here are pretty understanding about references too. Arab is small but very safe. I don't know of anyone on this forum that lives in the towns you mentioned. There is a house for rent near me but I believe it is more around $550 a month.

MONTREAT VILLAGE Apartments Washer/dryer connections. Miniblinds. Move-in Specials: $99 first month rent OR No credit check with two years on job. Call Jeff at 931-6029.

SUMMER SPECIAL: $150 Security Deposit. 1 bedroom apts. $285. 2 bedroom apts. $315. Includes refrigerator, range, dishwasher, garbage disposal, 1-1/2 baths and POOL! Garden Court Apartments. 586-4234.

Garden court apts are older but they are doing work around the complex, putting up new stairs. There is a pool and the ground floor apts have a patio. I live around the corner from this complex.

Montreat village is in the south part of town. Not a bad looking complex.
