There are a lot of truck driving jobs in this area. You might take a look on al.com for jobs. There is a lot of building in this area for new homes etc I don't know how much help this is but I do hope someone else can help you with more info.

Evening Bud , If you don't mind a 35 mile ride, there are 3 rock quarries , and 2 asphalt plants in Huntsville , Like Keeper said there is so much building going on in the north Alabama area that you should have no problem finding work , as a matter of fact theres not enough Dump Buckets to fill the bill in some areas , I know a few developers that said that its some times the next day before they can get a load of top soil due to trucks steady hauling of gravel and asphalt. Theres also 8 or 10 large construction companies in Huntsville where you can just lease on with them and work . so just come on down and get settled in , and just call around , it want take long to get rollin , and have a safe trip . Do you Fish ? if so your gona love Scottsboro Al. Rick
