Ironbowl.. who is going to win
I thought it might be fun to see who City-Data members feel will win the BIG game next weekend.
Let's keep it light and fun. Bragging is allowed but no personal attacks or rude comments, please.

Roll Tide!
I'm looking forward seeing Bama finally win in Bryant-Denny Stadium.
But it's the Iron Bowl - ANYTHING can happen!
I have to say this - DH and I graduated from UA and first lived in Atlanta. We'd meet other UA fans and grads, and say, "Great! Roll Tide! When did you graduate?"
But when we met AU fans, we'd all make fun of each other, crack jokes at each other's expense, and generally have a good time with our "enemies."
Both AU and UA are great schools, with strengths in different areas. I love our campus at UA and put a daughter through school there, too. AND put her twin brother through school at AU, and grew admire and appreciate that school, too.
I think the rivalry has made BOTH teams, and schools, stronger!
(PS to Keeper - thanks for posting! What fun!)

Auburn fan. But I don't see any chance in hell of winning.

My BIL use to watch the game at my mothers home (which was behind his house) because his family was always watching something else. Whenever UA would score he would run to the door and yell 'Roll Tide'.
Now what makes this funny is that they live out in the country so no one would hear him but maybe his DW and kids.

on paper, the Tide should win in a blow out.
Games are played on the football field, however ( as poster Southland alluded to)
I'm definetly rooting for the Tide so the SEC championship is #1 vs #2
I'm extremely confident the Tide will win.
In the SEC championship game my "confidence" will not be "extreme, however

Alabama has never won in T-town, but I would love for it to happen.

I am a USC Troll just trying to get info on the teams that are ahead of us in the polls. Maybe history will repeat it self and Alabama will lose finally. If not congratulations to a great season. Alabama has done a fine job.
