Default traditional music in mid-southern alabama

just wondering what the traditional music of caucasians in mid to south alabama is (around selma and montgomery). Are they part of the appalachian banjo tradition, or are they more country-western? or do they share the same traditions as southern blacks (ie- gospel and jazz)?

thanks

Ok , it takes a Musician answer this one .....( No Offense Decaturbabe ) . I'd say the biggest part of central to south Alabama is pretty much Country and Traditional Gospel and Blues , and for the youth , thanks to Puff Daddy or some body, Hip Hop seems to be the most popular. Sorry, the Banjo's are up in Eastern Tennessee .
