House Hunters just did a segment on Daphne and it looked liked a very nice town. Very affordable. All three homes shown were beautiful and under 300K. I can't even imagine that.

Seeing the episode of House Hunters is what made me think about Daphne. I will also check into Forest Lakes. Thank you for the info.

Can anyone tell me how much homeowners insurance is running on the coast? Property taxes too? We would love to live on the coast and have been considering AL and Fl, but Florida's insurance woes have steered us back to AL. Many thanks.

You mean Lake Forest and it's quickly becoming a Ghetto.Anywhere else in Daphne is fine.
