Default Gulf shores
I am thinking of taking a vacation in gulf shores next June and was wondering where would some good cheap places to stay be? I would even consider tent camping as we would like to make this as cheap as possible and I love to camp, fish, etc Help please?

There is a state park at Gulf Shores. I've never stayed there, but I know people who have who liked it.

Yeah, Gulf State Park will be your best bet. It's a really nice park with good bathrooms and showering areas.

When I was a kid, my friends and I would buy the little fire cracker/popper things from the gift shop and throw them at peoples feet in the bathroom. I'm sure they have banned those by now.

You're going to love it down here Missy. We usually stay in a hotel when we're at the beach, but at that time of year the rates go up. There's plenty of great restaurants and lots of activities for the kids. Just don't show up with a big cardinal on your back window (go big blue). haha, just kidding.

Make sure to stop at Burris Farm Market in Loxley on your way back home. They have all sorts of fresh produce and they sell deserts too. Awsome pecan pies.
