Default Friends in Decatur

I am a 39 year old gay man that moved to Decatur from Tennessee in April. Is there a gay scene here or other gay men to hang out with as FRIENDS. I am not into the club scene, just like to hang out with someone that likes to go to the movies, bowling, dinner, etc. Not looking for anything but friendship. I have a partner of almost 9 years but he is hardly every home because he is a truck driver. Any suggestion would be wonderful.

Thanks

Decatur actually has a small gay population - although many folks I knew from the '90s seem to have moved away. Most of the ones still there are integrated into the community - they work, own businesses, are active with various religious, charitable, and civic organizations. I honestly don't know of a "scene" - heck, there aren't many "scenes" of any kind in Decatur! It's a quiet town.

I'm sorry I can't be more helpful, but the folks are out there. I'm just not sure how you'd connect with them. DM me if you like with any specifics.
Good luck!
