You can not get items like obituaries or other info from the websites, just some of the newspaper content, unless like in Anniston, you are a subscriber of the Anniston Star.

Several counties flaunt 22 and 23 mill rates.

So, in Marion County--with the homestead exemption of $40,000--property tax on a $200,000 house would be approximately $336.
Thanks, nalabama!
You are a wonderful guy, bless you!!!!!
Now, I have found a genuinely decent, kind person to help me! How fortunate I am.
Thanks bunches!
Have a good evening!

Many papers DO print obituaries. Along with most of their other content, available for free on their Web sites. It's one of the big reasons newspapers are dying.

Default exactly what I needed

The site you gave me was precisely what I needed!
I had heard that Russell Co taxes were lower than Lee Co & that Lee Co is about to have another big tax increase.
The realtors in Lee Co lied to me, said that my info was untrue.
Now I know for sure, thanks & may God bless you!
Hugs,
Norma

Newspapers do not put the entire contents of their papers on their websites.
I have tried it all, never asked anyone to do "legwork."
People read the news on the internet & newspapers are becoming too expensive.
