Default Is South West of Montgomery a safe place ?

Hi All,
I am interested in restoring a 100 years old house located in the SW of Montgomery by South Hull on Arlington St (corner of Fairview and Norman bridge).
Does anyone know if that section of town is safe for a single woman ?
Thanks a lot
Jyckell

It's not the best area. There are some parts of Montgomery I don't want to be in during the day, let alone at night. Considering the area you have to think about resale value. If you sink a lot of money into this house, will you be able to recoup your investment should you sale?

Thanks Rebel. The old circa house was sold. My plan is to renovate historic or old houses and rent them out.
What about Highland park area just North of 85, close by Ann st ?
I am planning on visiting some old houses in 4 weeks but having some insights from others is helpful.
Thanks
Jyckell
