I'm not certain any of them other than Randy Owen are from Alabama. Lorri Morgan (daughter of country singer George Morgan) was born and raised in Nashville, George Jones grew up in Texas, and Darrell Worley in middle Tennessee. I think they are simpley investors in this bingo project.

bingo machine = slot machine..... i've never understood how they even called it bingo but i guess i'm not the one that found the loop hole in the system and got that one past everyone..lol and personally i'd like to see a lotto and maybe even real casino type gaming in alabama.. give the profits from the lotto to education and so on because i know i sure wouldve loved the chance to have had my college education paid for by the lotto but i guess thats just a broke college students wishful thinking lol... and as far as actual casino gaming they would of course have to kick some of that towards education but i'd let em half a nice share for themselves... and the the boys on the hill in montgomery and get the pockets lined to as long as we see a change with the way alabama is run now a days

Be careful what you wish for.. in FL the lottery was suppose to give extra money for education, instead they reduced the money they were budgeting for education by the amount the lottery money. FL has some of the worse schools in the country now.
I have my doubts that the yahoo's in Montgomery would do any better.

It would be OK if it was earmarked for education. But I remember in Floridadumb, They started Lotto for education, and they kept on skimming the proceeds for anything but education. They claim over $1 Billion went there, but my question is how much didn't. I'm sure it will be the same way here....

I agree.
But Gov. Riley received money from the Indians in Mississippi to block gaming in Alabama. Now he is catering to the Poarch Creek Indians in Atmore and trying to close down all competition in the state. Our governor told all house republican to vote against the BILL if they wanted to receive stimulus money in there district.
