Quickest way to Florida from Fort Rucker
I'm new here, and I'm looking to go to Florida to play Lotto, I heard it's about 30-45 minutes away. Anyone know the first town in Florida after the border?

US 231 would probably be the quickest way into Florida from Rucker. Campbellton is the first town you'd get to in FL.

Out the Daleville gate, left on US 84 to Dothan, then follow the signs for US 231 south, or go straight across US 84, follow the signs for AL 85, then left on AL 167 to Esto, FL.

We used to live in Ft Rucker and went to PC Beach sometimes. I dont think I would go 84 to Dothan. The circle is so busy! Map it out on google. That would be your best bet.

The quickest way, if you are just wanting to get to a store to buy lottery tickets, is to go out the Enterprise gate, take 84 to 167 and follow 167 to the FL line. Takes about 30 min. I can't remember the name of the small town you reach first across the state line but they have lottery in big and bold letters out front so you can't miss the two stores they have-- but definitely watch your speed!!! This way takes you through Hartford and past Bellwood area. Bad speed trap area on this whole road!!!!
