Default Selma rated tops

This Old House rated Selma as one of the best places to find a great deal on an old house.
If you know Selma well, would you agree? There may be good old houses there, but if someone wanted to move south from up north would it be a culture shock?

I am originally from Selma....when I say it's small and rural...that is what it is...lol...the highlight is the Walmart there. They do have nice inexpensive homes, but as far as all things cultural...it lacks and YES it would be a major culture shock. I'm not sure I would move there if I had never visited....hell, I wouldn't move there and that is where I was born..lol
