Default Anniversary HELP! Or I'm done for!

Help!

My wife and I are celebrating our anniversary this weekend. We can only get rid of our daughter (that sounds awful...."get rid of") for one night.

We live in Marshall county so we can easily drive to Huntsville or Birmingham and have a 1 night stay and come back the next day.

Any suggestions? Romantic places to stay....fun things to do? Looking to let loose and have some FUN!

Thanks!!!!!!

From the King of Romance himself: We spent our ten year anniversary at Unclaimed Baggage in Scottsboro.

We had just moved to Huntsville a couple days earlier; we were living in an apartment; we didn't really know too many people - or none were available for babysitting, and we have four kids.

For our eleventh anniversary, I think I'll make up for it and take her to CiCi's pizza.

Wow, what a romantic guy - you could have at least given her a new hard drive, Charles!

In Huntsville, you could stay at the Westin at Bridge Street. Or Ross Bridge in Birmingham, and sample one of the gourmet restaurants there.
Or a Bed and Breakfast...maybe up at Mentone or Chattanooga?
I like to check tripadvisor for suggestions.

You could, this week, rent the movie "Fried Green Tomatoes" to watch before the weekend. Then (Note the LUNCH HOURS ONLY) take her to the Irondale Cafe, Irondale Cafe :: The Original Whistlestop Cafe which was the inspiration for the movie.

Thanks for the suggestions everyone.

Ross Bridge is booked up already for the night I need, but that was an idea of mine. We've eaten at the Whistlestop Cafe many times (lived in Moody for 3 years).
City Stages doesn't excite us this year...not a strong lineup really.

Honestly...we are more along the lines of going with Charles' suggestions above! LOL

I think we will do a nice dinner Friday night at a new local fine dining restaraunt, catch a movie, and then the next day just loafer together all day without a care in the world! It will be nice not having to worry about if there are wet-wipes packed or not! ROFL
