Romantic secluded location ideas!?
OK....so everyone on here has been great in helping pick out some nice things to do for my anniversary this weekend! Now....
Anyone have a favorite secluded romantic location... in North East Alabama that they have enjoyed? We've thought about one of the state parks, but I don't think they like visitors after dark! 
We are planning on dinner around 6:00-7:00 and then see where the night takes us. We would like to go to a nice club, but any of the bar/clubs around us seem to be "rednecky".
Don't get me wrong...I LOVE a dive bar with loud music...but not for this occassion! |

So, rent a cabin at Desoto. Those are off to themselves, rustic, and air conditioned.

Cabin is out..
I would rent a cabin, but we have only 1 night of freedom from the offspring and all of the cabins I've found up there are 2 night minimums.

Check out Gorham's Bluff about 3 miles outside of Pisgah.
It might be to your tastes--a lodge or cottages. Part of a planned community deal...
