Default Talladega Superspeedway,

I would like to surprise my husband and get tickets for Talladega Superspeedway. Do any of you know about how much they cost and other good to know facts about this event? Like where to sleep? And is it child friendly?
Pardon my ignorance but I am from Sweden and I am totally cluless but my husband is a big fan.
We live in Memphis ,TN.

Thanks

Home - Talladega Superspeedway

Talladega is one of my favorite tracks. I sat in the Gasden tower for 12 years.

To help you out...when buying race tickets the higher the better. Meaning the higher you sit in the stands the better the view is. This also means that the prices are higher too.
Also closer to the start/finish lines is good too.

OV Hill north and OV Hill South are good choices.

Something else to keep in mind, if an overnight stay is required, you might have a hard time finding a room right there near the track. There are hotels there but many get reserved months in advance.
Coming from Memphis, I'd look in the Birmingham area.

The fan section of this website I put up there is very informative.

Have a great time!

As to child friendly....I would say yes.
If you can't find a hotel room and yes Threestep is correct, rooms do fill up THAT fast....do you camp? There is plenty of camping available and they even have a family camping area and since you mentioned children I would HIGHLY recommend you camp there.

And camping is a lot cheaper so thats sounds like a good idea. But all we have is a tent. Not an RV.

You'll be fine in a tent. The family area has restrooms and showers.
We always stayed at our aunt's house in Columbiana so never got to camp.
