My Grandparents and parents are from there. There are some family I have not seen since I was a child, and others I never met. Some childhood friends (summer time in AL was a blast). I would be elated to actually stumble upon a recognizable name. This forum is worth a try.

I appreciate your response. I have heard of Turner in Midway but, I don't know any personally. Hope you enjoyed your family reunion. My family reunion was held in Atlanta on 4th of July week-end. I was in Tx visiting my daughter. I may call my Aunt this week-end and see if she has any knowledge of any relations to my family. My relatives are the Allens, Earls, Elzies, Ellisons... Having trouble thinking of the rest.

I am very familiar with the area, some of my family lived there at some point.
