They're driving me nuts! These computer generated calls originate (maybe?) from
515-369-5930 showing the name "Health Care," 978-570-2221 showing "United Sch," and and 562-289-8151 showing the name "Health Assoc" --all three want to sale health insurance! If you listen to the message it will say press 1 for an representative/operator or 9 to opt out of their database. It doesn't matter what you press, 9 or even 1 and demand the calls cease, the calls never stop! I mean, geez, I DON"T WANT anything from them, but they keep calling and calling. I certainly wouldn't buy anything, let alone healthcare, from a computer-generate sales pitch!

Anybody else being harrassed by these morons or know of some secret code to actually get them to stop calling?!?!

Default Talk to a representative next time

and have some fun!

It's like this: I'm currently on parole after serving a 40 year sentence for killing an insurance agent that came to my door one day. On top of that, I have AIDS (which I contracted in prison), I smoke 6 packs of cigarettes every day, I take crack every opportunity I get and I have set the house on fire a half-dozen times from falling asleep with a cigarette in my hand and, thank God, my 4 pit-bulls survived each and every time.

And I'm sure you can come up with even more creative stories. Go for it!

If Tijilover's suggestion doesn't work you might try this?

Are you on the 'do not call list'? IIRC if you were on the list previously you had to re-register recently. I haven't gotten any of those calls but I also re-registered. If you told them to quit calling and they continue tell them you are going to report them if they continue to call. There is a place to report them.

Default obnoxious pushy salesmen

I recently lost my job and went online to check out the obamacare insurance (which sucks by the way). I knew I shouldn't have done it but I put in my info to check out the rates. My phone started blowing up 1 minute after I did this. I got 28 calls in 1 day. One guy called after 9pm and I asked him if he knew what time it was and he said yes. I asked if he usually called that late and he said to be honest I would call at any time. I have tried DO NOT CALL registry before for sales and nothing ever happened. so i'm blocking them now. Obama should have set in place something to keep this from happening. He's not helping on the insurance. So you get a credit. Most people still can't afford what the after cost is. And like in my case the bronze insurance doesn't cover anything till after the deductible is used up. When the deductible is $6000 I might as well not have insurance at all. Knock on wood, at age 60 I am doing pretty good and have only gone to Dr. for yearly physicals when I had work insurance coverage. So the long and short of the this......isn't there anywhere we can go to complain or stop these people?

I use phonetray free and a modem to block all sorts of calls. The other technique that can work is to try to get a live representative on the line and breathe deeply and ask them what color panties they are wearing.

You can block the channel from where you are getting the call.
