Default Need Information on Fort Payne Jr & High Schools

Thinking about moving to the Fort Payne Area and was woundering about The schools. I have a 12 year old son who would rather play chest than football. Is he going to be picked on because he's not a football player? I hear football is everything in Alabama. What about other schools in the area? Thanks for your help........Woodzman

Default Hey!

Hello I'm 14 and in Fort Payne. The School system is great! I think your son would be fine i have a cousin 12 yeas old in 5th grade she doesn't get picked on. (Some people might say its different with girl) I think he would be fine people don't get picked on for not playing football. I don't play and I don't get picked on. Fort Payne is a very good place to make friends also! I think he would be fine here because if hes 12 he will not be picked on by 6th graders , 7th graders , or 8th graders because he wont be seeing them much unless hes going to lunch or after school because there in the lower level of the schools and the 6th graders don't have classes with the 5th graders so I think that he would be fine if hes good at making friends.
