Thank you very much MsMuir. You are welcome to our home, but on condition that you'll protect my ID. Really, we would be so pleased to have some of our net friends over. I appreciate all very Sincerely.

harry chickpea, that is so true. I wish things wouldn't be that way. I thought deeply about your advice and now know exactly how I am going to go about it. Thank you as always.

Thank you Southlander, Bravo35223 and Keeper. Yes my wife was very pleased with our new home and said its like heaven. I told her that was not a good complement because I imargine heaven being a very crowded place with all the good people and all the animals being happy and making a lot of noise. I am not really sure. Thank you all. Yes let's be useful as we all have been so far and enjoy ourselves. It has gone beyond just finding a place to live into meeting some wonderful people - the cream I would say.

Thanks for the invite! Maybe one day we will visit. Don't worry about your ID...I totally understand! For now, Hubby and I are living in Decatur, in an APT until our home in FL sells.

We've been looking at different areas here so we have some idea of where we'd like to live. So far Danville seems a good choice, but we haven't given up on Moulton.

Hubby is an engineer and is working for ULA, (Boeing), here in Decatur, so we want to stay around this area. Like you, we want a few acreas....maybe not as many as you have, but at least 3-5 acreas.

Wish us luck in getting the FL house sold! Who knows, we might even become nieghbors!

Suliniber:

I have a software company. We work with law enforcement agencies and we are now getting into the arena of counter-terrorism...when I read that you speak fluent Russian, I figured you had served the U.S. in some sort of capacity...if this is the case, then your service is appreciated.

bravo

MsMuir, all areas seem good to me. We drove through Hartsale yesterday and the place looks nice and lots of open areas. A few months ago I was also looking around Danville and particularly interested in one property that had large land but very poor building. It really depends on the particular property you get, Moulton itself doesn't have anything special that you can't find anywhere else. My excitement is just about the property itself. Of course I wish you all the best in the sale of your home in Florida and in finding just the right place for you. May I help look?

Bravo35223, thank you, but I am not ready to release my autobio yet at this time. I am looking forward to another 65 years to come, resting peacefully on my Bush Hog Zero Turn.

Thanks, Suliniber......I'd take you up on the offer of help, except that who knows when our property in FL will sell! Know what you mean about loving the property you found....we also had a great property in CA and was sorry to leave it, but we had to move on to FL. Love the house there, but only had an acrea and a half and we want to get back to living on at least 3 acreas.

We also checked out Hartselle, but didn't see anything there that we felt was right for us. Altho', at this point in time, we're only checking out areas as opposed to actual homes....don't want to fall in love with something and then not able to buy it because we need to wait for the sale of our home in FL!

Am so glad to know that you found your Nirvana.....makes me feel it's possible for us as well!

Yes that is right! Would you rather play cards in a retirement home with others just waiting for God? - I enjoyed that British comedy.
