Please this is a serious situation hill hospital in york alabama houses a self recovery program for substance abuse. scott, i would think you do not know anyone with this horrible disease or you would not have made light of my request. I had a daughter overdose 3 months ago on opiates another with acute alcohol abuse is still allive. This program will take her and it does not have a 90 day wait like most towns. I just dont know anything about it except what i can get on internet.

I'M STILL A BIT MOODY OR I PROBABLY WOULD HAVE LAUGHED AT YOUR REPLY. JUST CANNOT IMAGINE WHY I CANNOT GET MORE INFO ON THIS HOSPITAL AND PROGRAM OTHER THAN WHAT THE ABUSE HOTLINE TELLS ME.

Probably because many people are like me and have never even heard about a town called York, Alabama. Good luck though. Might want to put this thread in the actual Alabama forum, and not the Mobile one. Might have a better chance of getting a response.

I had to Google it, apparently it's in the west central part of the state which we all know isn't very populated.

York is close to Meridian, Miss. It's nowhere near Mobile. You might want to ask the moderator to move this thread to the general Alabama forum. Frankly, though, we have very few posters from that area.

I am sorry.. I did a search of this forum and did not find any info regarding that hospital. It is actually HILL HOSPITAL OF SUMTER COUNTY. It appears to be a small hospital in the rural black belt of AL. Good luck.
