Aurtur Davis will probably get the democrat nomination, but he rides the fence too much. He voted against Obama's health care plan but it's kind of a smart move.

And if the people in his district knew any better they'd get rid of him. I thought I liked him, but I don't think I do anymore. He's friends with my mom (there aren't many black Harvard law grads in Bham) and he seems like a nice guy and all, but as his district probably has a high percentage of people without insurance, I don't personally understand why he voted against it. I suppose I should look into his reasons.

If Charles Barkley is serious about politics, no time like the present!

Your right! He did nothing for his district and would probably do the same for Alabama. He comes to Hsv and kiss their a#$(and lie about how he will fight for cut programs) and then goes down to Selma and lie about his efforts to improve the black belt.

Saw him speak recently and he gave his reasoning as the law as written did not do enough to increase access to health care to justify the cost. If you look at his district, it has some pretty low doctor-to-resident rations.
