Question Gulf Shores Beaches - Construction

We have planned a family vacation to Gulf Shores in July and recently heard that the beaches were full of seaweed and pretty noisy due to high construction rebuild from storms - can anyone confirm?

If there is seaweed there right now, it is a seasonal occurance and will probably be gone by July. Construction - yes, there is some, but only in a few areas. There are plenty of places that are clear of construction and the beach is beautiful! You might go to this forum for more up to date info: url removed . You will need to sign up for the forum to post, but it's free. You can also call the chamber of commerce. Their web site is removed.
Wish I were going!

I haven't been to Gulf Shores since February, but there was some construction then. Not enough to keep me from recommending it though. The beaches are, I think, prettier than they have been in years. I am jealous. I wish I was there now.

These are the best beaches on the Gulf Coast. Little bit of seaweed isn't going to keep most people from enjoying a trip of a lifetime. The construction is few & far between. Make sure which ever realty company you are staying with knows what is going on in the area when you come and what is occuring around where you are staying.
You are going to come back year after year.
