hey ... i am relocating to FT Rucker alabama. i dont have to stay in ft rucker..but within 45 min of at least..im not sure of the area and i wanted to get some info on where to live and not to live, the night life, singles scene, the MEN!!! ...im not rich so dont put me in with the rich folk ...but im not poor so i dont want to be in the ghetto...im from cali and im used to a diverse crowd of people...i date outside my race which is italian.. i heard there is a lot of raciest people in alabama so i prefer to skip those parts as well.....i want to live some where nice thats not far from the clubs and night life...but not in the city...can ya digg it? thanks for all your help!!!!

In that "area" Dothan is by far the more cosmopolitan. As a "men", I used to run there year's ago, and it was fertile territory (no pun intended) for both sexes. Lot's of places north of Dothan along Hwy 231 to live (that's toward Rucker).
You'll likely find more guys and fun at the "country music" oriented joints. You'll also find that not all of them are "bumpkins". I had (still do, of course) a Ph.D. and was an Air Force Colonel when I used to run there, and most of the time it was in the Honky Tonks. :-)

ok but thats just it...im not into counrty music...im into hip hop r&b jazz music from the late 80s early 90s...i like men in there late 20s early 30s...i date anything but white...no offense just my prefrence.....im just saying this so you can get a better feel....how far is florida? anything other than country bars in alabama? or do i need to go on into florida? i figured with all the military at ft rucker they gotta have some thing going on somewhere?

You might actually like the Trussville area. Its close to Birmingham for the shopping and clubs that your seeking...and It is multi-racial and if you plan to have children with the man you find there its got a wonderful school system.

Just wondering....are you coming to ft rucker or VA? Seem to be posting at both places.
