Moving to Barrow
My previous thread didn't really get to the point in the title so I figured I'd make a new one that's a little more informative. I'm moving to Barrow and am looking to be there in the first week of August. So hello to all the Barrow folks!

Thinking of moving to Barrow....my husband works for TSA. Would I be able to find work? and how exspensive would moving be, do I sell my car or have it shipped there?

That's because no housing vacancies for Barrow are posted on the web. Same with many other small Alaskan towns and villages. You'll just have to start talking to prospective employers, etc. Most housing vacancies are advertised by word of mouth. Because the housing market is soooo tight there is no need to advertise.
