My wife and I plan to visit Barrow on Sep 15th for a one-day trip, the reason is wife really wants to see polar bears. We haven't booked the ticket yet as we are afraid that we will spend $1000 for a major disappointment. Of course, we know there is no gaurantee that we will see polar bears there, but can anybody gave a fair estimation of the chance of seeing polar bears at Barrow? Very likely? 50-50? Or rarely? Thanks a lot!
