So the health inspector shows up today, naturally during a time when all hell was breaking loose; i.e. employees (and management) in tears
, various idjits thick as flies, delivery trucks stuck in the ditch, CC's tombstone in progress blocking the drive....just a normal day. Anyway we passed the inspection and the inspector told us it was the cleanest place she's seen on the island. She also told us that one of the places she went to had maggots. She couldn't tell us which one, of course.

I was planning on going out to breakfast tomorrow morning but the specter of possible maggots has absolutely ruined that plan for me.

This season can't be over soon enough.

Boil them like rice. Gently. Add a touch of soysauce.

We don't do breakfast....and sometimes I just like to get out somewhere else.

Can you smoke maggots I wonder or would they just turn into mush.

Damn, I am so ready to get on that jet.

If they're the big plump ones, pan fry 'em and eat 'em like popcorn.

I'd imagine if you can smoke grasshoppers you can smoke maggots. But wouldn't they be hard to keep lit?
