sadly whether anyone wants to admit it or not...our upbringing forms our opinions of what social classes of people are...people can make mistakes and they will be classified and named for the rest of their lives in the area they grew up in or in this case just in general...right or wrong it is life and there is no changing it....social classes are...elite, upper class, middle class, poor struggling, poor with class, poverty and then we have trash, trailer trash, noooo morals....yup flame me and trash me for this but it is NOT the list of classes by any stretch of the realm an I don't know for sure....this is just a point of how people differently perceive things

I wonder why she says she's religious...

1st Timothy 6:12 For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

The family must be evil!

Your right. She made a mistake that will follow her the rest of her life. If your daughter did the same would you like for all of us to take pot shots at her?? Treat people with respect. Bristol has done absolutely nothing to deserve this vitriol.

no...no one wants their child to have "pot shots" taken at them but it is reality that you are judged by others given their individual perception and your actions...

If she had, I wouldn't repeatedly go on national TV and announce to the world...then expect people not to take "pot shots" at her. That would be illogical. And by going on this latest TV show, she is de facto consenting to remaining in the public spotlight. People are free to form and express any opinion they so choose about public figures. That's how it works, as imperfect a system as it may be.

Bristol Palin might be stepping out of her comfort zone this season on Dancing With the Stars, but she won’t be stepping into any of the show’s skimpy costumes. “I think I will be the most dressed [contestant and have] the most modest outfits for sure because that’s who I am,” she told PEOPLE Monday night in Los Angeles at the announcement of the show’s new cast.

Just because you can do something does that mean you need to? Does it make you feel like a better human being when you talk down to someone and call them names? If it does that's just plain sad.

You tell me. How do you feel when you "talk down to someone and call them names" (people such as Floyd)? Yep, there's that ole Karma thing. People who live in glass houses...
