Default Homer or...

Which is better: Homer or Lazy Mountain? I'd need to be able to support me and possibly a family.

Hello. As far as getting a good job, I would have to say Lazy Mountain hands down. Lazy is very close to Palmer and you would even be able to commute to Wasilla or Anchorage easily enough. Homer is pretty much a tourist town and only really prospers job-wise in the summers. It is possible to find a decent job there, but very limited. But Homer is sooo beautiful, peaceful and really laid back. So that is a tradeoff you might want to take.

Other than the closeness to Palmer and Wasilla, I don't know much about Lazy Mountain. I hope this helps a bit.
