Do you need your own car in any of these locations or is there other modes of getting around?

Spent time in all three. Except for a long way to the airstrip in King Cove and Sand Point you can walk everywhere. A four wheeler is handy if you want to buy a used one when you are there.

I grew up in Cold Bay and I would definitely have a vehicle there...preferably a 4WD. There is an extensive road system from the days of World War II. Get a four wheeler too.
