Our little town is having funeral number two for the week, both dearly beloved patriocs of the two largest families in town. Linda's family had 93 relatives in town Sunday. Helen's funeral is today and both families are connected through marriages, grandkids, neices & nephews. Anyhoo, it's been nothing but cooking cooking and more cooking at my house trying to keep everyone fed 'tween tears and laughter with relatives. Nobody feels like cooking turkey tommorrow and we're all so tired but we'll pull it off somehow.

I just wanted to tell all my Alaska family a Happy Thanksgiving and don't forget to say "I love you".

Sorry to hear about the funerals, Gramma. Seems that they were loved greatly since the whole family showed up.

Thanks for the Thanksgiving day wishes and may you have a great Thanksgiving as well.

I actually had turkey dinner this evening, thanks to a local service company. And I'll be having ham dinner tomorrow night. Thanks to my reliefs girlfriend, who is cooking food for the entire rig crew.
According to the radio...it's supposed to rain/sleet/snow here tomorrow. Which is very cool!

Oh Met, I'm so sorry! That can be miserable and scary too. I hope you're on some antibiotics, wish I could bring you a nice pot of chicken soup. Take care of yourself!

I'm off for yet one more family/friend gathering, got my goodies all cooked, packed and ready to go. Truth be told, I'd really like to be spending this day in my jammies by the fire. Maybe tommorrow.
